Notable Quotables

Looking for expert advice on how to incorporate Cultured Stone® into your next design? Here are some notable quotables from Kerrie Kelly:

Start with a Focal Point

When incorporating stone veneer into your interior design, it’s important to start with a focal point. This could be a fireplace, accent wall, or even a backsplash in the kitchen. Once you have identified your focal point, create a mood board that includes samples of the stone veneer, along with other materials and colors that will complement it.

Keep It Natural

Stone veneer is a beautiful, natural material that can help bring the outdoors in. To really make it shine, try to keep your overall design scheme natural and organic. Incorporate wood, plants, and other natural materials that will complement the stone veneer and create a cohesive vibe. When creating your mood board, look for colors and textures that mimic those found in nature, such as earthy browns, greens, and blues.

Mix & Match Textures

Stone veneer is a great way to add texture and depth to your interior design. To really make it pop, consider mixing and matching textures throughout the space. For example, pair rough-cut stone veneer with sleek, smooth surfaces like polished concrete. This will create contrast that adds visual interest to the space.

Kerrie’s eye for design will act as a resource for your upcoming projects and inspire you to use manufactured stone veneer on your residential interior or exterior.
