INSTALLATION<\/h4>\n

Pro-Fit\u00ae Terrain\u2122 Ledgestone is easy to install, and goes up quick, because there are groups of small stones already expertly bundled by Boral\u2019s masons. The veneer can be applied to most structurally sound wall surfaces. Its light weight and quick adhesion allow installation without additional footings or wall ties, so Cultured Stone\u00ae products can be used in places where traditional full stone cannot. Each piece\u00a0 is applied individually with Type N or Type S mortar.<\/p>\n

MAINTENANCE<\/h4>\n

Cultured Stone\u00ae requires almost no maintenance, with only a light wash occasionally to remove dirt or dust. Abrasives, pressure-washing, acid and sandblasting should be avoided.<\/p>\n

Cultured Stone\u00ae products are colourfast. The colours become an integral part of each stone during the casting process. Existing installations of Cultured Stone\u00ae have shown no undesirable change\u00a0 in colour after many years of weathering.<\/p>\n

Cultured Stone\u00ae stone veneers are noncombustible. They are UL tested and listed. Cultured Stone\u00ae products test results showed zero flame spread, and zero smoke development.<\/p>\n

SUSTAINABILITY<\/h4>\n

Boral\u00ae is committed to meeting today\u2019s building needs without compromising our planet for future generations. They use a closed-loop recycling system, so water is re-used during manufacturing. Cultured Stone veneer products also contain a 58% average of recycled material. They meet the indoor air quality standards of the GREENGUARD Environmental Institute and GREENGUARD Gold. Cultured Stone\u00ae veneer also is a NGBS Green Certified Product. Cultured Stone\u00ae helps contribute to LEED building requirements.<\/p>\n

WARRANTY<\/h4>\n

Cultured Stone\u00ae wall products carry a 50-year limited warranty, when used on structures that conform to local building codes, and when installed according to manufacturer\u2019s instructions.<\/p>\n

The warranty is limited to replacement or repair of defective materials only and does not cover labor to remove and replace. Warranty does not cover damage resulting from building settlement, wall movement, contact with chemicals or paint, discolouration due to airborne contaminants, and staining or oxidation.
